Antoine POULAIN joined CARBONNIER LAMAZE RASLE in 2020 as partner in order to create the Restructuring / Distressed M&A department.

His area of expertise ranges from preventive measures and amicable settlement of business difficulties (ad hoc mandate and conciliation proceedings) to the judicial handling of companies facing difficulties (safeguard procedures, judicial reorganisation and compulsory liquidation) and the financial handling of difficulties.

He advises French and multinational clients including shareholders, investors, companies, group companies, conglomerates, managers with regards to restructuring projects and acquisition of business through court proceedings.

Before joining CARLARA, he spent 10 years working at Poulain & Associés in order to specialize in Insolvency Proceedings and special situations.

His previous experience, in particular at ERNST & YOUNG, allowed him to acquire solid knowledge in financial review.

He teaches Insolvency Proceedings to students of Paris-Saclay University.

Admitted to the Paris Bar since 2010.
