Christophe Lachaux has been practising as a lawyer since 1989. After starting his career in New York, he worked for a French-American law firm in Paris. He then worked for eight years in the legal and tax office of a major international audit group, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and company law. While with this firm, he was seconded for two years to Sao Paulo (Brazil), as head of the European Desk.

Christophe is a partner in CARBONNIER LAMAZE RASLE & ASSOCIÉS, which he joined in 2005.

He has almost 20 years’ experience in M&A and corporate finance.

He specialises in business combinations, disposals, acquisitions and joint ventures.

Drawing on his international experience, he frequently assists in cross-border transactions and international contracts.

He teaches at the Bar School of Paris (EFB).

Admitted to the New York Bar since 1989.

Admitted to the Paris Bar since 1993.
